Richard2-bwWith the retirement of Ron Pollin as Director General at the end of 2012 CommWorld has found a ready replacement in Richard Courridge, the former Finance Director of UK marketing communications agency The Works until 2004 when he left the agency world.
Richard has spent the intervening time working for his local Chamber of Commerce where he was responsible for managing its enterprise agency and more lately developing business education programmes for schools.
With his background of over 20 years in marketing agencies , previous involvement with CommWorld and subsequent involvement with Chambers of Commerce and their networking activities Richard is ideally placed to help CommWorld move forward to its next stage of development.
Richard commented “I am really pleased to be back in the marketing communications world and especially so to be with CommWorld, a network I know well. I am looking forward to helping CommWorld grow and become the network of choice for independent agencies throughout Europe”
Eigil Jacobsen, Recruitment Director said ” We welcome Richard as our new Director General. It is vital for our network’s future growth that we have a professional and well experienced capacity up front in our management. And that we have in Richard”.
